Bite Splints / Nightguards

All bite splints and nightguards are made to your occlusal plane specifications on upper or lower models. Thermoformed soft or semi-hard Erkoflex EVA materials are used for the fabrication of nightguards. Processed acrylic with ball clasps, CLEARsplint?(modified composite that can be self-adjusted by soaking hot water before insertion) and Flexite® thermoplastic nylon are used to make standard bite splints. The most popular bite splints, the Comfort (hard co-polyester) and Comfort H/S Bite Splints?(hard co-polyester with a soft 1mm inner layer of polyurethane for enhanced patient comfort), are thermoformed for ideal retention.
